Healthiest Life 4 Me

I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and today showed me just how true that really was.  Today was my second day substitute teaching.  I was at the same school, in the same class that I did my first day in.  I had a difficult girl in the first period of the day and was hoping that the day wouldn’t continue on from there.  And THANK GOD it didn’t.  I had a great rest of the day and there was an assembly during one of the classes, so that helped break up the day!  Then the best thing happened.the secretary told me that she had talked to one of the teachers that was pregnant and going to need a long term sub in the spring about me and that this teacher wanted to meet me.  I was nervous walking to her room because the secretary called it a Life Skills/Cooking/Sewing Class.  Not sure of what I would be teaching, I thought that a job is a job and I can do anything for 6 weeks.well, besides sewing!   When I walked into the room the class was watching a video.  After talking to the teacher a bit and listening to the video it seemed like they were learning about nutrition.I may be teaching nutrition 3 days and cooking 2!  And I can cook what I want and teach them from whatever I’d like!  OMG!!! Does life get any better than that!  It does seem like God has a plan for me and as long as I stay patient, I may not screw it up and be THRILLED with the end result. 

Dear Lord, Thank you God for the opportunities before me.  Thank you for loving me despite my impatience!  Thank you for the plan you have for me.  I know you know what is best!  I promise I will do my best not to screw it up!!  AMEN!!
