A bunch of fellow bloggers and fitness enthusiasts that I connect with on Twitter did a fun blog post today, so I thought…better late than never. They listed the TOP 5 exercises they LOVE to HATE!!
Here are mine:
1. I hate LATERAL RAISES…I love to look at shoulders on other women. Perfect shoulder caps w/ muscle fibers showing is such a fabulous look!! I WANT, no NEED great shoulders and should love to work them. I notice that the things I hate the most are the ones in which I am weakest at.
2. Lunges…I have strong legs and love to work them, but for some reason I hate to do lunges! Although, the booty loves them. I’ve started doing lunges inclined while walking the tredmill do try to kill 2 birds w/ one stone…cardio and lunges in one.
3. Running…I don’t do it! I hate it, it hates me. I have developed exercise induced asthma over the years and it really makes running/sprinting hard. I have tried sprints outside and there are too many things I am allergic to in my environment to do this. So I just don’t run. I walk at a steady pace and move the incline. I am learning to love the stepmill and eliptical for cardio (when I do have time for cardio that is).
4. Lat Pulls – I love that I am getting stronger and love they way these make my back look, but I hate straps and my grip isn’t strong enough anymore to hold on and then the stupid bar is so thick I can hardly get my whole hand around it.
5. I hate decline crunches w/ weights…not sure exactly what these are called but you like crunch up and hold and alternate punching hands w/ 5 lb weights for 12 each side…CRAZY PAIN!!!
