Gotta hear this amazing man talk about Genesis and the science of it.
I have many friends that ask about my diet and how I do what I do. I usually have the same answer and I am not sure it sets very well. I tell them I pay big $$ for my plan and that it is set up specific to me. It takes into consideration my workout, the calories I burn at a resting rate, and my likes and dislikes. I spend time working out much harder than all of my friends, therefore giving them my diet won’t help them lose weight because I burn a ton more calories during my workout. I also notice that when I try to explain the basics of eating right, they are uninterested because it takes a lot of work. So I thought I’d try my best to break it down a bit and let people figure out how they could fit it best into their lives.
To begin with, you will need a piece of paper to do the calculations. Here is the info for fat loss:
this may need to be dropped to x11 or x10 if no progress after a few weeks
(4 calories per gram)
can go up to 1.5g if desired
(9 calories per gram)
yes, you read that right, healthy fats are important for fat loss (you can’t burn fat if you don’t eat fat!! STAY AWAY FROM FAT FREE PRODUCTS)
(4 calories per gram)
After this, you will break it all up between 5-6 meals with the last meal being only protein right before bed. Your meals should be spaced out every 3 hours.
Hope this helps out! Good luck and post your results! It will be fun to see everyone’s progress!!

Hello, my name is Travis Just, from Hilliard, Ohio. I just wanted to share a story with you, to give you hope about your health.
At age 22, I was in the best shape of my life. I was a personal Trainer and a competitive body builder, in such great form as to be chosen Mr. Collegiate Minnesota. But, while I was in good shape, I wasn’t in good health.
“In 1998 I was diagnosed with Cancer. It was a life-changing experiencing for me, as it is for everyone. I went through radiation, and it took it’s toll on me. I had to be more than physically strong to survive. I knew that if I was going to get back my health, I needed nutritional supplementation to support my body’s systems. Now I’m happy to say I’m cancer free and in great health as well as physically fit. I want my life to mean something.”
“They say you miss 100% of the shots you never take. We never regret the things we try, we regret the things we don’t try. Try Genesis today, you won’t regret it! Those considering a Symmetry Business- just try it and you’ll have no regrets.

About two years ago, at age 22, I was diagnosed with Leukemia (cancer of the blood). Before being diagnosed, I would go to the gym but couldn’t work out because it was hard for me to breathe. I was tired all the time and my appetite decreased where I would only eat once a day. I lost a lot of weight but didn’t really realize I was not healthy. I was actually taking energy pills just to get to the gym and work out. Then I got very sick. I passed out at home and the paramedics had to knock down the door to get to me. If I hadn’t reached the hospital when I did, I would have died. I was literally bleeding to death. I had to go through chemo-therapy and fight for my life. I made it through and the cancer is in remission. I knew that for me to get my health back, it would take good nutrition. About 6 months ago, I started taking Genesis and Ultra Vitality. And I feel great! I go to the gym regularly and I have so much energy! My appetite is back, I eat all the time. My immune system is 100% back to normal. I get a blood test done every week, my red and white blood cells are back to normal. I have to get a bone marrow test every 3 months (uggh!), but it comes back good each time! There are no signs of cancer. I’ll never go back; I’ll never stop taking my Genesis and Ultra Vitality.

Both of these stories are from the Genesis before it’s improvement. Read a bit about Genesis now:
Genesis-X24: It’s the only Antioxidant on the earth that has Primary and Secondary Antioxidants in it. So now not only does Genesis kill free radicals right away; it stays active over 24hrs with the new first time ever Primary Antioxidants added. Symmetry is the only company that can do this since they patented this whole new extracting process. Let me give you just a little look at what this can do with a comparison of other products, Mona-vie says they have an ORAC score of 3000 (all secondary antioxidants) which means each ounce can kill up to 3000 free radicals, well old Genesis kills 19,636 per ounce (also secondary antioxidants). The new Genesis-X24 not only has more Resveratrol but now they extract every great antioxidant that red wine has to offer, the result up to 400,000 free radicals and that’s just with the secondary ones. Thhe primary ones work from 24 to 48 hrs so the number could be in the millions even a billion. The primary antioxidants come from a melon specially grown for Symmetry in Africa that is high in SOD and Glutathione. No one in the world has ever done this before and I really feel this product can change peoples lives.

Resveratrol, commonly found in red wine, is all over the news lately being prominently featured in magazines like Forbes and Readers’ Digest and news programs such as 60 Minutes and Oprah. We at Symmetry know that there is much more to the story of red wine than just Resveratrol. There are several compounds in red wine that are known to help protect against heart disease and cancer like quercitin, polyphenolic compounds, and ellagic acid, to name a few. Our best-selling product, GENESIS, contains the Resveratrol plus all other nutrients present in red wine without the alcohol and water.
GENISIS also includes ellagitannins-the stable food form
of polyphenol ellagic acid known as the “miracle molecule” in
pomegranates. A recent study from the University of California,
Los Angeles, found extracts of the fruit were associated with a
two-fold suppression in the expression of genes linked to prostate cancer. The anticarcinogenic effect of ellagic acid has also recently been shown in several types of cancers including skin, esophageal, and colon cancers.

Hi, my name is Karen and I am a 29-year-old wife and mother of two boys, 8 and 2. When I was 25, my hand started going numb. I was going back to school to get degree, so naively, I thought maybe I had been writing too much. I wish! As the numbness crept up my hand, I began to get concerned. Since I am a hairstylist, I thought maybe it was carpal tunnel. I didn’t share it with anyone for about a week, and when I did, my mom suggested I go to the doctor. The doctor was able to get me in thankfully being that it was a Friday. My husband drove me to the doctor and waited in the car. When I came out of the office, it was all I could do not to burst into tears. I told my husband the news; it could either be a virus or MS! What! How could I have MS, no one in my family has it, I was fine last week, and what the heck is it? Just knowing that it was a disease was enough to rock both of our worlds.
I went to see a neurologist who gave me an MRI, which was just like a REALLY loud tanning bed! When my results came back, it showed I had lesions. The doctor really down played it, and said that we should really just monitor my numbness, come back if I have any other symptoms, and it may go away and never come back. My husband pressed and pressed about the MS but the doctor said he was not prepared to be concerned unless I get more symptoms.
During this whole process of doctors and MRI’s, it was about three months. Three months of numbness on my whole right side of my body. Sometimes I would trip since I could not feel my foot, my hand just did not want to hold the curling iron tight, and I had tough time writing. But, it eventually it went away, and I never thought about it again. I really felt like I had pushed myself to my limit of stress and I created it myself.
Life went on and I had another baby. About 10 months after I had my baby, my right foot went numb. I thought it was the shoes I wore to work that day, but after a few days of that, the numbness was creeping again.I knew! I tried so hard to wish it away. I went online and tried to webMD my symptoms, but it kept leading me to MS. After about two weeks, I couldn’t deny it anymore so I told my husband. I went to the neurologist again and he wanted to do more MRI’s. After waiting for referrals (you know how HMO’s are) it had been about 1 month. It was Super Bowl Sunday, my husband just left me at home with my two boys to go run an errand and all of a sudden, my left side of my body cramped up. Now I don’t mean a leg cramp that you can flex away, I mean it started in my toes and went up to my ribs. I fell to the ground and screamed in pain. My oldest son freaked out. Five minutes later, it happened again. then again. I literally cramped up for 2 weeks, sometimes minutes apart, sometimes hours, but not much more than that. On Valentine’ Day, I got the official diagnosis, I had MS! I cried.a lot, and then I went to have sushi (whatever helps). Another month or so went by with sporadic cramping and burning feeling on certain areas of my body. My neurologist suggested that I think about taking medication.
I went home and thought about it, for days with the notion that I don’t have any other choice; if I don’t I am going to be in a wheelchair, maybe never be able to hold my children, or play catch with them. I really thought I would be better off dead!
Then I did some serious research. I found that some people have really good results from natural treatments and that MS is so different in everyone. Yes, some people are in a wheelchair, and others have had it many years having minor issues, therefore, I could be anywhere in between. Honestly, I may not have thought about going the natural way if all I had to do was take a pill for the rest of my life, but an injection everyday, it was worth another look.
I went to a holistic chiropractor who gave me some supplements for inflammation, suggesting that my nervous system is more affected since the foods I am eating are causing inflammation, even saying this is a treatment for all autoimmune diseases. The supplements were REALLY expensive, but if it works, then no more shoe shopping for me! My sister had begun to sell vitamins, to which I was a HUGE pessimist, but I was desperate, gave her the ingredients to the supplement and said, find me something with those ingredients so I don’t have to spend so much money. She told me it has a small amount of glutamine but way less than is acceptable to take. So I researched it, and found that not only does it help body builders with their muscles, but aids the immune system, has been known to help treat many illness such as cancer, and enhances brain function.
While my painful burning sensation was not going away on the last major episode, I tried the supplement the doctor gave me. Immediately it started disappearing, but only days into it, I switched to Ultra Vitality liquid, Genesis and straight glutamine, and decided if it took the rest of my pain away and stayed away, I am sticking with it, if not, I would just have to spend a fortune to keep that supplement. Well, it was totally gone by 8 days. I feel like I am getting different things from these three supplements. Rest is important when you have a diseases, your body cannot fight off anything if it is weak. In addition, the Genesis helps me sleep and fights off infection, I am getting fewer colds now, and trust me when you have kids you get everything. The Ultra Vitality gives me energy and vitamins that I don’t get from food. If I skip anything for even a day I can feel my body getting tired more easily.
I am starting to get to know my body now, it’s too bad it took a disease to do it, but if my foot started to bother me, like it is going numb or feeling like it will cramp, I will double dose my supplements. The funny thing is, the reason why I am so passionate about this is that I thought I would stop everything for a while, I just think I am feeling better and am able to forget about the MS, but after a week my whole leg went numb. When I started back up again, it took about three days for it to go away. I am a firm believer in the Symmetry products and know that without them I would be on medications for the rest of my life. With these products, I am able to live as normal of life as one can with MS. I have the determination not to be in a wheel chair and am going to continue a more holistic approach to fight this disease.
I have been working on removing foods that are inflammation free, purifying my foods, exercising, and drinking almost all water. This is way more challenging than taking three supplements; however, it is my goal. I still have a long way to go, but I plan to live as pain and symptom free as possible, for my family, but also for me. I would suggest this combination to everyone with MS. It really has been a life saver for me!

Well, I didn’t post last week, but check in went well. At my week 4 check in I weighed in at 136.6 and was down to 26.49% body fat. It was a great week!
Now here we are at week 5 and I am excited to say, it was another great week. Had a few moments of weakness when it came to the Oreo Cookies sitting on the counter, but for the most part had a great week. I have figured out that if I put my shake and nuts on my desk at work, then I don’t forget to eat at the right time (since it is during a class) and that makes a huge difference in my day.
I added a few new supplements this week, but mostly for purpose of detoxifying.I am taking CoQ10 because it helps flush out toxins. I figured that this would be a good idea for a month or so. I also added a potassium supplement since potassium helps from retaining water and from cramping (now that I have upped my workouts, my legs have been bothering me a bit in the middle of the night). We’ll see how I feel. I am also gearing up to do a Cleanse from my company. I will let you know when I am on it and how I feel!!
Ok.I guess I have stalled long enough! HAHA!! Now for the numbers. I weighed in at 135.8 and was down to 25.22% body fat. I put on 1.28 lbs of muscle this week and lost 1.88 lbs of fat! So very exciting. $25,000.00 Max Formation Prize.here I COME!!! heehee
Well, until next week.eat healthy, be healthy!
Well, it was a long week. Full of stress and craziness. I was worried how my check in would go. I took myself to urgent care with a fever and a sinus infection on Friday night. Really excited to get an antibiotic, the Z Pack and a three day weekend!!! I was feeling a bit better in the morning, but still really tired. I slept through a few meals on Saturday and then ate dinner I shouldn’t have (and even dessert..shhhhh, don’t tell!) Then twice this week while teaching, I got so busy that I forgot to eat my 930 am snack and once was so tired I went to bed without my last meal.all these things made me very nervous. Although, I have started working out with a partner that pushes me really hard, so every workout I get is AWESOME and a little painful!
So, I really wasn’t sure how the check in would go on Friday. When I got there, of course my nutritionist wanted to know how I was doing with the plan. I asked him to do the measurements and said we’d chat about my troubles and thoughts after. When he measured me, I still lost body fat!! I was 2 pounds lighter according to the scale and was down to 27.12% body fat, down a total of 2.43% total body fat in 3 weeks. I also put on .92 lbs of muscle. I have to say, I was very excited and he was quite impressed after telling him about my week (not the ice cream on Saturday, though.shhhhh!).
So, here I go, starting week 4 and ready to kick butt. Have a lot going on still, but plan to have a PERFECT week with my diet and exercise!!! Thanks for keeping up with me and helping me stay accountable!!! Check it out next week to see how it went for me!!
Friday marked the 2 week mark of my progress towards the new me and finally reaching my goal. I had a busy week and was able to be perfect on my plan again, until Thursday night. I wasn’t feeling well and my nutritionist said I could have a cheat meal once a week. So, I took it. I had a protein shake and 2 slices of pizza. So.failed at the 30 day sugar free diet.but still quite on track for the actual goal! I was worried about a cheat meal the night before my weigh in would be horrible, but it wasn’t.
So the results of my check in went well!! Last week I weighed 138.8 and this week 138.6 and although I was depressed about that when I got on the scale that morning, getting my measurements was quite exciting! I am down to 27.74% body fat! That is down just a smidge under 3% body fat in 2 weeks! I was very excited about that!
So, now onto week 3! Rough start on my weekend, but planning on making the rest really count. I have a head cold which is making the gym hard to accomplish, but I do plan on toughing it out!
Thanks for keeping up on my progress and supporting me through this journey. I will post on my progress weekly!
